Our golf shop staff places a high importance on providing outstanding member service. This includes providing the members with a variety of quality merchandise at fair and competitive prices. If we do not have a product that you want, please let us know so we can special order it for you.

Range Program

The practice areas are a main ingredient for any golfer who wants to improve their golf game. Golf is a game of repetition. The more we play and practice, the better our chances are of improving. Thunder Hills Country Club offers you an excellent practice facility. The range is open at all times the golf course is open. On Wednesday and Sunday evenings the range will close approximately 1 ½ hours before dark. All other evenings the range will be open until dark. We offer a season range program which provides unlimited range balls. The following are the 2006 costs:

• $90.00 - Single
• $135.00 - Couple
• $185.00 - Family
• $4.50 - Per Bag

Bag Storage

Thunder Hills offers club storage for their members. This convenient service provides you with a place to store your clubs. We will also label your golf bag, clubs, and umbrella with your name. Your clubs will be pulled and placed according to your walking or riding preference. After your round of golf or practice session, your clubs will be cleaned and put away. The 2006 cost for this service is:

• $65.00 - Single
• $120.00 - Couple
• $35.00 - Junior (Under the age of 18)

Golf Lessons

The game of golf can be frustrating at times. If you are not enjoying the time that you spend at the golf course, maybe it is time to schedule a lesson with the golf professional. I am interested in making improvements in your game. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals (grip, posture, ball position, alignment) and the short game. Video lessons are available. If you would like a golf lesson, please contact me at the Golf Shop. Individual lessons are $30.00, Juniour lessons are $15.00 and video lessons are $35.00.

Club Repair

The Golf Shop will provide regripping and any other repairs.

Member Golf Events

We offer a number of competitive and social golf events for the Thunder Hills membership. A few of the competitive events include; Pro Member, Member-Member, Member-Guest, Thunder Cup and the Club Championship. The social events are great way to meet other members. These events include; Men's Stag, Women's Stagettes, ABCD Mixers and Social Couples events. We feel that it is very important to get involved in a number of the member golf events. If you have any questions regarding any of the events, please contact the Golf Shop.

Golf Leagues

• Tuesday Morning Ladies League - 9:00 AM Shotgun (Front 9)
• Tuesday Evening Ladies League - 5:45 PM Shotgun (Front 9)
• Wednesday Evening Men's League - 5:30 PM Shogun
• Friday Evening Couples League - 5:45 PM Shotgun (Front 9)

Participating in the leagues is a great way to meet other Thunder Hills members.

Junior Golf Program

We have an outstanding junior program for ages 5 years old and older. We meet for golf instruction on Thursday mornings and on Friday mornings we have a golf event for them. The golf course is closed until 10:00 AM on Friday's for the kids. The program begins in the beginning of June and runs through the beginning of August.

Golf Handicap

Thunder Hills Country Club offers a handicap system for the membership. The computer that calculates your handicap is located in the Golf Shop. Every 9 or 18 hole score needs to be posted into the system for an accurate handicap.
