MEMBER-MEMBER GOLF TOURNAMENT

Pick one of your fellow members and play in a two-day team event. On Saturday, you and your partner will play a best shot and on Sunday you will play your own ball and take the one best net score. Your team will be flighted off your combined handicap. Top teams in each flight will qualify for a shootout to determine the champions.

Date: Saturday, June 8 - Sunday, June 9 2024
Format of Play:
Saturday – 2 Person Best Shot. 1:00 PM Shotgun
All players tee off, choose which shot is best and all play their next shots from the location of the best shot. Play continues in this fashion for all of the 18 holes.
 
Sunday – 1 Best Ball Net. 9:00 AM Shotgun
Golfers play their own ball throughout and the lower score between them on each hole counts as the team score
 
At the completion of play on Sunday, we will take the top 1 or 2 teams from each flight (depends on number of teams). These teams will compete in a shootout to determine our overall Member-Member champion.
Handicap:
Pre-Flighted by Handicap. Requires up-to-date USGA Handicap Index.
 
Saturday – 2 Person Best Shot
Team Handicap = 35% of Low Handicap Player + 15% High Handicap Player
Team Handicap will be subtracted from total score
 
Sunday – 1 Best Ball Net
Everyone plays their own ball. The team score is the best net score on each hole.
Eligibility: Thunder Hills Golf Members only event
Men and Women at least 18 years of age
Food: Saturday - Appetizers immediately following golf
Prizes: Overall champions and Flight winners receive Golf Shop credit

Entry deadline is Thursday, June 6 at 5:00 PM
Cancelation Policy: If golf tournament is canceled due to weather or other events, player will receive a full refund
If player is a “no-show”, entry fee is non-refundable
